The following resources are intended to assist Marin SAR and cooperating agencies in effectively deploying Marin SAR resources.

Marin high risk areas Pre Plan.. The goal is to provide quick reference information for members to review before or during a mission.


California State Office of Emergency Services OES approved new mutual aid guidelines in early 2004 for several facets of SAR, including ground searchers, mounted teams, technical rescue, dog teams and urban search and rescue. These new guidelines will reshape search and rescue in California by setting guidelines for teams responding mutual aid and how they are trained and equipped. The guidelines are available below.
